Ben has over fifteen years of experience practicing in the areas of Real Estate, Affordable Housing, and Community Development law.


Ben represents developers involved in the acquisition, construction and rehabilitation of apartment complexes and housing developments utilizing a variety of sources of financing including the low-income housing tax credit and the historic rehabilitation tax credit as well as tax-exempt bonds, Affordable Housing Program funds, HOME funds and Community Development Block Grant funds. He has also represented borrowers using Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD/FHA loan programs. Ben enjoys the challenge of negotiating and structuring project financing to achieve his client’s goals while also ensuring each project’s ultimate success for the communities his clients serve.
